nails and knot
Anxiousour trip started out perfect. we saw jon dore on our way to our hotel. he is the man. once we got there we stocked up with supplies from LCBO...and checked out Toronto Hemp Company (T.H.C.). then we went to nails.
it was amazing. we were pretty close...section 109, row 14. they played everything so perfectly and with so much energy. as soon as they started playing goosebumps were all over my body. it was amazing, i was singing to every song and screaming my face of for them....no one else in our section was doing much which was lame. i sware at a part where it quiet i yelled loud as fuck and trent looked and pointed at us. im pretty sure we were the ones that got the encore haha. carter and i almost got kicked out for smoking, but with some smooth talking we got back in.
the days in between were pretty fun. we went to the church of scientology...the guy there got pissed off at me and stopped answering my questions....theyre complete idiots. they said that its hubbard came to is conclusions by studying people and the mind and when we asked if it was pyschology the guy said no. he also said that it was not a religion, and a few min later said it was. they told courtney that she made up that memories are triggered by chemical impulses. you dont make shit like that up. we visited many head shops that day. darryl and i found this neat little place right beside T.H.C. it was called Vapor Central...its a place where you pay $5 to use their vaporizers to smoke weed. i dont know how its legal, but i know it was fucking awesome haha.
the next day we didnt really do much, we played a lot of asshole in our spare time....we were going to see pineapple express but there werent enough seats...but when we were getting our tickets we saw Spenny from Kenny vs. Spenny. hes also the man haha.
mayhem fest was alright, i didnt get to see a lot of the bands i wanted to because i was trapped at the merch tent for like 2 hours. but i was pretty well right up near front row for dragon force...it was killer. disturbed sucked. and slipknot.........oh my fucking god they were amazing....their new masks were awesome, they played perfectly, had tonnes of energy...corey did like a flip and roll thing. joey did his crazy drum solo with the rotatingness. fuck it was awesome.
can't wait to see those bands again. pictures should be up soon.

( i was like 5 rows ahead of this person and basically right infront of jim root aka #4 i can see myself in the video its quite hard to find though---it was at a point when i was holding up my hat).
